The FlipPhones brand guide.

A clear identity for a South African store focused on smartphones, smart glasses and useful accessories.

01 / Identity

Technology that fits your day.

FlipPhones helps people choose connected devices with clear product information and a human route to advice. We sell smartphones, smart glasses and accessories, with each product and its availability described as accurately as we can.

The flip phone in our mark is a brand symbol. It does not imply that a particular handset is currently for sale.

03 / Colour

Calm ground. Clear contrast.

These are representative colours sampled from the supplied artwork, plus one darker interface teal for accessible links and text. The raster samples are guides, not a vector colour specification.

Links and focus states

Use navy on cream for important text. The logo’s light teal has low contrast on cream, so it must not carry essential instructions or small interface text.

04 / Type and layout

Easy to read. Easy to use.

The lettering in the logo remains artwork. Site headings use a clear bold sans serif; body text, navigation and forms use Arial. We use sentence case, generous space, simple borders and visible keyboard focus.

Compare the device, check compatibility and ask us when you need help choosing.

Make body text at least 16 px and touch targets at least 44 px.
05 / Imagery

Show the actual product.

Use real, commercially permitted photography for the exact model, frame, colour and generation on offer. Show useful views: front and side, fit for glasses, and connectors or scale for accessories. Keep product tiles light and consistent.

People and places should feel plausible in South Africa, with natural colour and practical technology in use. Avoid generic futuristic effects, invented product likenesses and images that imply stock or features that are not confirmed.

06 / Voice

Useful, specific and calm.

Use South African English. Explain what a device does, who it suits, what is included and what the next step is. Name models and generations precisely. Describe availability and delivery only from current, verified information.

Say this

  • Explore smart glasses.
  • Need help choosing a frame? Ask us.
  • Check the product page for availability and delivery details.

Avoid this

  • Experience the future of vision.
  • The perfect fit for everyone.
  • Unqualified stock or delivery promises.
07 / Brand relationship
